New Envelope Press Increases Value For Clients

July 11, 2023

SUMMARY:

Throughout each year, Spectra upgrades its print facility in order to make sure its clients enjoy the best of what modern technology has to offer in printing their projects. As new pieces of equipment hit the market, Spectra’s leadership team assesses them and selects the ones that are best suited to their scope of projects, ranging from retail marketing mailers to official billing correspondence from hospitals and other large institutions. Recently Spectra installed a new Xanté En/Press unit, a digital multi-media press that will be dedicated to printing envelopes.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

As a full service 3PL provider, it is important for Spectra to give its clients access to very high quality at every stage of the order fulfillment process. While this includes complex topics like accuracy in mailing addresses, data security, inventory management, and kitting of multi-element shipments, it often begins with the printing of the materials that will be sent on behalf of the client. The leadership at Spectra, which is headquartered in Columbia, South Carolina, makes it their goal to give their print clients the same quality assurance in their printed materials that they would expect from any dedicated professional printing service.

In order to meet this high bar, Spectra makes ongoing upgrades to the equipment in its in-house print facility. Over the past years, the facility has benefited from the installation of digital presses, binding machines, and associated pieces of equipment that result in the ability to publish an incredible range of different types of print projects, from a simple full-color postcard mailer to HIPAA governed correspondence using pressure seal and other secure methods of protecting patient information.

Heading into the second half of 2023, the most recent piece of equipment added to the Spectrum print facility is a Xanté En/Press. This digital press, specifically designed for high speed, high quality printing of envelopes, will add a great deal of efficiency to the process when the print shop needs to print both documents and envelopes for a client’s mail campaign. Rather than using a single press to print both mailers and envelopes, both parts can now print simultaneously, accelerating the speed with which Spectra can get the client’s order completely printed, sealed, and mailed.

With its many years of experience serving institutional, retail, government, and other types of clients, Spectra understands the criticality of timeliness in nearly every different type of mail campaign. Whether a medical center is notifying patients about billing requirements or a retailer is reaching local potential customers about a seasonal offer, a time-sensitive mailing is only effective if it reaches its recipients within the required timeframe. The dedicated Xanté En/Press makes it easier for Spectra’s expert print team to execute multiple client orders in a shorter period, raising the number of projects they can take on at any given time and shortening the time from order placement to fulfillment.

Spectra is headquartered in Columbia, SC and operates a secondary distribution facility near Charleston. Clients interested in using Spectra for their print and order fulfillment tasks can reach them online at www.spectraintegration.com.
